Rai, Kottari among prominent leaders who cast votes in Bantwal

Bantwal : Senior Congress leader and former union minister B Janardhan Poojari cast his vote at the polling booth at the SVS High School on May 5, Sunday.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Bantwal Congress candidate B Ramanatha Rai exercised his franchise at the Todambila Sacred Heart Aided Higher Primary School. He was accompanied by his wife. Rai who spoke to reporters said  he was sure that voters would recognize the good works done by him and elect him even this time.

District BJP President Padmanabha Kottari exercised his franchise at the polling booth set up at the Goltamajalu Panchayat office.

Bantwal KJP candidate Ibrahim Kailur cast his votge at Irvattur Padavu Higher Primary School.

Voting began an hour late at the Todambila Sacred Heart School after the voting machine  developed a technical fault.

It was common to see senior citizens arrive at the polling booths accompanied by their family members.
