Puttur: Bhavya (28), wife of Balakrishna Gowda, a resident of Mura Colony in Hirebandadi village and an ASHA worker died on the night of 20th due to severe bleeding during delivery and the baby boy is healthy.
Bhavya’s third delivery was admitted to Puttur government hospital on Monday after she complained of labour pain. She gave birth to a baby boy on Tuesday night. She was rushed to Wenlock Hospital in Mangaluru where she was treated as she was bleeding profusely during the delivery. Even there the treatment was not effective, She died on 21st morning
She is survived by her husband Balakrishna Gowda, son Bhavish class 4 student, Swastik of Class 3 and a baby boy.
