Pune-based woman runs into trouble over her anti-Modi post

Mangaluru: A Pune-based lady who posted derogatory comment against Prime Minister Narendra Modi may soon land in trouble after a Mangalorean took exception to her post.

It is learnt that Savitha Lancy D’ Souza, native of Chikamagaluru, residing in Pune had posted abusive comments on PM in Facebook group known as ‘Konkan Thara’.

Ajith Kumar Ullal resident of Thokottu Krishnanagar, Mangaluru who is also Convener of Mangaluru Constituency BJP Information Technology Cell filed a complaint with the Mumbai police in this regard.

It is said that Savitha’s post was a reaction to the reports that BJP leaders are chalking out plans for ‘Hindu Rashtra by 2023’, after Yogi Adithyanath became the CM of Uttar Pradesh. The report had also spoken about how the Christians in large numbers are getting attracted to Hinduism.

Savitha posted abusive comment wishing that the PM Was bombed by somebody. Her post also said that Modi was not a PM of India, but he was doing religious Chamchagiri.

When the people in the group raised objection about the comment, the complainant posted that “do not react on her message already complaint has been filed”.

Admitting her fault lady had reportedly apologised to Ajith Kumar explaining that her reaction was due to her seething anger. “Please treat me as your sister.Please help me,” her message read.
