In a recent protest against those supporting Syede Nazir Hussain from the Rajya Sabha with the Pakistan Zindabad slogan, a few BJP activists recently came forward to storm district offices in Mangalore and Udupi.
While the police did their best by placing barricades to control the protest and prevent the activists from marching into the office, it only got worse with protesters trying to break the police cordon. The police then took a few of these protesters in a vehicle.
The protest also saw a few Congress activists who came to raise slogans against the BJP.
In Udupi, the protest took place at the Brahmagiri circle, while in Mangalore, the protesters gathered in Mallikatte.
The Udupi protest also saw the presence of leaders like MLA Yashpal Suvarna and the BJP Yuva Morcha secretary Vikhyat Shetty.
