Mangaluru:  A protest against the demolition of Kapila Goshala in Kenjar and demand for the rebuilding of Goshalas for cows was held under the aegis of Vande Mataram Gau Samrakshana Samiti on Thursday, March 11 in front of the Mini Vidhana Soudha.

“A Goshala needs to be reconstructed that can provide shelter to 300 cows,” Anand Adyar told the protesters.

“The administration has been ordered to destroy the Goshala at Kenjar by someone. We have developed a situation in which we are demonstrating against our own government,” he said.

Further, he said “We hold Kalladka Prabhakar Bhat in high regard. He has, however, accused Prakash Shetty of being a butcher and a cow seller. Prabhakar Bhat should seek an apology right away for his comment. Brahmakalasha was donated to Kateel temple by Prakash Shetty. If you (Prabhakar Bhat) have the courage, come to Kateel to swear in front of God.”
