Kasaragod: Post-poll violence continued in already tense Kasaragod district. Two autos belonging to BJP supporters were set ablaze at Madoor on Monday morning.

The autos belonged to Sudhakar from Chettanguyi and Sunil Kumar from Uliyatadka, two staunch BJP activists.

The police suspect that the same gang must have executed the crime.

Vidyanagar police have registered a case.

It may be recalled that violence took place after the Assembly election results were announced on May 19. Section 144 was slammed in the region for seven days.
