Mangaluru: It was a miraculous escape for many persons who were awaiting to buy their ticket at the railway booking counter here at Mangalore Central Railway station as a part of the ceiling collapsed, injuring one on July 27.

The injured is Biju Mathew, a resident of Kannur Chimberi.

The incident took place when Mathew, along with his ailing mother was going back to his native, completing his mother’s treatment.

He has been admitted to Government Wenlock hospital having suffered injuries to his head and hand.
