Mangaluru: Former Union Minister and veteran congress leader B. Janardhana Poojary, who insisted Chief Minister Siddaramaih to hand over case of IAS Officer DK Ravi’s death to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Friday promised to pay Rs. 5,000 a month to DK Ravi’s family.

Speaking to the reporters here, Mr. Poojary vowed to pay the money to the family out of his pension. “The state government should also offer financial aid to the family of the deceased officer, which is in difficult condition”, he said.
He said that state government has done a lot of damage to the party by delaying CBI probe, which has been demanded by the people. “More the delay, severe the damage to the party and to the government”, he said.
