Mangaluru: Senior Congress leader Janardhan Poojary critisized Chief Minister Siddaramaiah for the Anti-Corruption Bureau issue and former chief minister D V Sadananda Gowda for his recent statement on Yettinahole project at the district Congress office on Wednesday, March 23.

Addressing a press meet here, Poojary said that why Siddaramaiah was so firm on his decision of having Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB). He also questioned why the CM was acting like Modi.
“The Chief Minister asked the Central government to make CBI an autonomous body and also enforce the Lokpal Bill. That shows you are fighting against corruption. I humbly request you to withdraw ACB. Your government has come to power to fight against corruption. Dont walk in the footsteps of the previous government,” he said.
Poojary also spoke about D V Sadananda Gowda’s statement of approving the Yettinahole project on humanitarian grounds.
“Two former CM’s D V Sadananda Gowda and Veerappa Moily approved the Yettinahole project without taking in consideration the union ministry report on environment and forests. If the project is implemented than there will be 15% decrease in the rain. At least now both state and central governments should wake up on this issue,” he said.
