Poojary announces Dasara in Kudla

Mangaluru: Former union minister and managing trustee of Kudroli Shree Gokarnanatheshwara Temple B Janardhan Poojary announced that the preparations for ‘Mangaluru Dasara 2015’ (Navaratri), organized by the century-old Shree Gokarnanatha Kshetra, Kudroli are going on in full swing.

Speaking at Kudroli temple auditorium on Monday October 5, he informed that Mangaluru Dasara and temple’s renovation will complete 25 years this year. “So we have decided to celebrate Bramhakalashotsava of the temple too”, he said.

“On October 13, 14 and 15, puja and prayers will be offered to God to convince the chief minister, prime minister and other politicians concerned, to abandon the Yettinahole project in the interest of coastal Karnataka and also to provide an alternative option for the drinking water problem in Kolar, Tumkur and Chikkaballapur region.” said Poojary sarcastically.

“The Bramhakalashotsava will be observed on October 16”, he added.

H S Sairam, president, Kudroli temple, temple managing committee members Raghavendra Kulur, Padmaraj R, B K Tharanath, B Devendra Poojary, Leelaksha Karkera, Harikrishna Bantwal and others were present on the occasion.
