Bantwal: The police have arrested two people for abusing and threatening ASHA workers in an incident in Sarapadi village. The workers had visited a house of Covid-19 positive patient to inform that the patient should not come out of house for any reason.

The patient’s relatives Sandeep and Santosh, accused them of falsely giving Covid-19 positive report to earn money. They also tried to attack the workers and threatened to kill them.

The police have arrested both the accused and filed a case.
