Kasargod: Prime accused in the two-month-old petrol pump employee attack case has been nabbed by the Vidyanagara police.

The arrested is Shiju (26) of Chalakunnu, Kannur, an employee of a biscuit company.

It may be recalled that K B Muhammad Raazik (20) of Vidyanagara Chala, Aamir Abbas (20) of Poyinachi Chirukura and a juvenile were earlier arrested by the police in connection to the same case.

Two months ago, the gang had approached Sunil Kumar, an employee of a petrol pump asking for a change for Rs 500.
The gang had then attacked Sunil Kumar and robbed him off Rs 30,173.

Police identified one of the accused using CCTV footage and upon questioning of one accused, they nabbed others.

As per police, Shiju is involved in several chain-snatching and other criminal cases.
