People should take merciless decisions to eradicate corruption: H D Kumaraswamy

Mangaluru: JDS State President H D Kumaraswamy said that people should not care about caste and bribes during elections. In order to build a healthy and wealthy society, people should choose non-corrupt and honest politician as their leaders.

“I can fight against corruption but it’s finally in public’s hand to choose the right one as their leader. This is called democracy. I have been fighting against corruption since I entered politics but the results were nil. So I am thinking to stop commenting and fighting against corruption,” he said.

Commenting on B S Yeddyurappa’s re-entry into state politics he said that Yeddyurappa’s government laid the foundation stone for corrupt administration. For the first time in Karnataka’s history, several MLA’s and ministers went to jail including Yeddyurappa when BJP was in power.

Pointing on ACB he said that the chief minister is trying to break the strength of lokayukta by forming ACB. ACB didn’t work out in other states where it was already formed.

The State government failed to create jobs for unemployed and it is misusing central governments aid also, he alleged.

State JDS General Secretary Sayyad Shahid Malla, Kaup block JDS President Yogesh Shetty, Corporator Ajith, JDS Youth President Akshith Suvarna and others were present.
