Mangaluru: The Yakshadhruva Patla Foundation was founded by renowned Bhagwat, Patlaguttu Satish Shetty, with the help of like-minded people, for the welfare of Yakshagana artists. They have spent over 5 crore rupees on the Yakshagana artists over the last six years. ‘Patla Samhbrama 2021’ to be on 25 May at Shri kshetra Pavanje.
Financial assistance will be provided to the yakshagana artists in the form of insurance, aids for building houses, medical insurance.
Yakshagana artists will be awarded ‘Yaksha Kala Honor’, and Honorarium will be distributed.
Children’s of Yakshagana Artists will be awarded Scholarships and talent awards.
Mambadi Subramania Bhat will be awarded the prestigious Patla Award 2021. Purva ranga Gana Vaibhav, Mahila Yakshagana, Tulu talamaddale, Shri jnana shakti Subramaniyeshwar yakshagana board is going to perform Yaksha bayalata.
Famous industrialist Shashidhar Shetty, Chairman of Tulu Association Baroda, will preside over the Patla event.
