Mangaluru: The Mangaluru South police has succeeded in arresting a 38-year-old person on Monday, May 15 in connection with the murder of a youth in a park located near State Bank area, a few days ago

 The arrested has been identified as Lingappa, son of Keshava, a resident of Kateel. Police sources disclosed that the accused had murdered Sharath of Ballalbagh in a drunken brawl over a trivial issue.

A case was registered in the Mangaluru South police station limits. Lingappa has been remanded to judicial custody, police sources informed.
