Mangaluru: Over 1138 families in Bengre will be issued with title deeds under 94 CC of Karnataka State Land Revenue Act, on Saturday, February 10, MLA for Mangaluru South Constituency J R Lobo informed.

Addressing a press meet at his office on February 9, MLA said, “From Bengre, nearly 2209 families have filed applications, out of which 1138 title deeds will be issued tomorrow. And the 1071 pending applications which are in the process of getting scrutinised, will be distributed within 15 days. And the RTC for the same will be given on February 17 during the Kandaya Adalath.”

“From Mangaluru South Constituency, 3091 people have filed application seeking title deeds under 94 CC ACT. In all, 1622 applications are ready for disposal and 1469 applications are under scrutiny. The pending tittle deeds will be issued on February 15 at Saint Sebastian Hall in Bendoor”, he added.

J R Lobo also said that he had promised the people of Bengre of providing title deeds but now the assurance had been fulfilled by the state government.
