Mangaluru: ZOOTS-2019, the Rotaract Zonal Office Bearers Orientation & Training Seminar was held on Sunday the 24th of November 2019 at the Besant Women’s College Auditorium. It was jointly hosted by the Rotaract Club of Mangalore City & Rotaract Club of Besant P.G Studies in commerce.

Dr Satish Kumar Shetty, the Principal of the College was the Chief Guest and he delivered to the participants, an excellent message on leadership.

Other Guests of Honour were Rtn. PDG PHF Dr. B. Devdas Rai, DRRC Rtn. Yatish Baikampady, Rotaract Chairman Rtn. Vinod D’Souza, DRR Rtr. Ganesh Bhat, ZRR Karavali Zone Rtr. Keshav K.

The Guests of Honour also addressed the gathering and provided insights into the life of Rotarians and inspired the participants with their anecdotes and inspirational messages.

After the Inaugural, Rtn. Dr B. Devdas Rai delivered a session on Rotary and Rotaract. This was followed by a session on the roles & duties of various office bearers. Finally DRR Rtr. Ganesh explained the various projects & activities of the Rotaract Movement in Rotary District 3181.

Rtr. Sheldon Crasta, President of Rotaract City, and Rtr. Kavyashree President of Rotaract Besant jointly chaired the Programme.

About 50 Rotaractors from 5 different Clubs took an active part in the orientation and benefited from the sessions. Awards were given to the club that grabbed the early bird offer as also the Club with the maximum registration.

At the valedictory certificates were distributed to all participants.
