Mangaluru : Organisation which gave illegal bandh call violating Supreme Court directive will be made accountable for all the loss and damages to properties, said District in-charge Minister Ramanath Rai.
Action will be initiated against all organisations, which gave bandh call on February 25, opposing Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan’s visit to DK District will have to bear the losses, said Rai briefing reporters in the city on February 26. Those, who owned responsibility for consequences by giving letters in writing, will have to face action, where even properties owned by such organisations will be seized to make up for the losses on the bandh day, Rai stated.
It was the responsibility of the state government to provide security to the visiting chief minister of Kerala and state did an exemplary job, Rai said.
State transport department officials who did not facilitate buses operations on February 25, will also face disciplinary action, Rai declared.
On the issue of cabinet reshuffle, Rai expressed ignorance on the happenings but only said that he will abide by the decision of the party high command.
