Kasaragod: In a serial accident that took place on National Highway near Bandyodu on July 26, one girl lost her life. Ten others suffered injuries.

The deceased has been identified as Fathimath Nihal (4). She is the daughter of Mogral Kadvath resident Ashraf and his wife Samira.

The accident involved one Innova car, two auto-rikshaws and another car. The tragic accident occurred when the Innova car hit an auto coming from Uppala. Meanwhile, another car and an auto hit in the rear side of the Innova car.

The injured girl who was rushed to a hospital in Mangaluru did not survive. The rest of them were shifted to hospitals in Uppala and Mangaluru.

Among the injured Ashraf, Abdul Khadar, Samira and Bathisha are residents of Paivalike Kayarkatte. Five among the injured are said to be serious.
