Kasargod: One person was arrested along with documents in connection with a money lending  business by police through ‘Operation Kubera’ on September 23.

The arrested is identified as K Ashok Kumar(36) a resident of Kalai in Paivalike.

Police arrested him while checking vehicles near Karandakkad. They have also seized an Alto car. 10 stamp papers, RC books of 8 vehicles, 16 cheques without signature and other documents have been seized.

The accused has given as much as 5,000 to 5 lakhs of loan for interest. He also revealed many other information to the police during investigation, it is learnt.
