Kasargod : Narcotic cell arrested an absconding accused in connection with Ganja transport by train.

The arrested is identified as K Rathnakumar from Thiruvananthpuram.

On June 8, 2013 police had siezed 3 kg of ganja which was taken from Kasargod area in the Thiruvananthapuram- Mangalore Mavelli express.

Ganja which was kept inside a plastic cover was seized before the train could reach Kasargod.

Narcotic cell had investigated the matter and Anas from Attingal was arrested in connection this case.

Rathnakumar, the transporter,  was produced in the court and has taken into judicial custody.
