Bantwal: Two persons suffered severe injuries after their Omni overturned here at Mani junction on October 7.

Vijaykumar(36), a resident of Surya in Mittur and Narayana(35) were injured in the mishap.

The Omni which was heading towards Mani from Mittur suddenly overturned after the driver lost control over it.

As a result both of them were thrown out of the vehicle. Both were taken to Mangalore hospital.

In the mishap driver Vijaykumar was injured severly and it is learnt that he is in coma. Narayana also suffered head injuries. Both of them were drunk and high speed must have caused ths mishap it is learnt.

Vittal police have visited the spot and are further investigating the matter.
