Mangaluru: Sasikanth Senthil, Dakshina Kannada Deputy Commissioner has informed that the old Kuloor bridge on NH 66 will be shut down soon to traffic.

The NHAI which recently had undertaken a survey of bridges found that the 65-year-old bridge connecting Panambur with Mangaluru was unsafe for travel.  

He also mentioned that the NHAI will come up with an alternative traffic plan and then a magisterial order will be passed to close the bridge.
