Offline classes for 9, 10 postponed in Dakshina Kannada

Mangaluru: As the positivity rate in the Dakshina Kannada district is over 2%, the offline mode of education in the government, aided and unaided private schools of the district has been postponed.

Assistant Director of Public Education Department have informed that reopening date of classes 9 and 10 in the district will be declared in the days to come.

Further, as the weekend curfew is being followed as a preventive measure against Covid -19, all the teachers of Government, Aided and Unaided High School and Primary Schools in the district have been ordered to do their work from home on Saturday August 28.

In the circular, the Assistant Director has also ordered the teachers to involve students through online mode of education.
