Mangaluru: After seven students tested positive for Covid-19, the Dakshina Kannada District Health Department has declared a private nursing college as containment zone.

All seven students are from Kerala and are in their first year of college.

Dr. H. Ashok, the Covid-19 District Nodal Officer in Dakshina Kannada, said the infected students have been isolated.

He informed that 43 first-year students’ throat swab samples were tested, with seven students testing positive.
