No train services between M’lore-B’lore route till Aug 23

Mangaluru: Due to landslides, boulders and trees falling on the track between Hassan and Subrahmanya Road, train services stand cancelled till August 23 on Mangaluru – Bengaluru route.

Heavy rains lashing Western Ghat region have marred hopes of early restoration of train services between Mangaluru and Bengaluru. The railway line between Mangaluru and Bengaluru route has witnessed a total of 30 incidents of landslides, boulders and tree falling. Hence, plans to restart train from August 12 has now been put on hold till August 23, South Western Railway (SWR) authorities informed.

Service of train 1651 Yeswanthpur – Karwar Express on August 12, 14, 16, 19, 21 and 23 is cancelled. Service of train 16516 Karwar – Yeswanthpur Express on August 13, 15, 17, 20 and 22 is cancelled. Train 16511/16513  KSR Bengaluru – Kannur/ Karwar Express on August 14, 15, 16, 17, 21 and 22 is fully cancelled. Train 16517/16523 KSR Bengaluru to Kannur/Karwar via Mysuru on August 11, 12, 13, 18, 19 and 20 is cancelled.

Train 16512/16514 Kannur/Karwar to KSR Bengaluru Express journey commencing on August 11, 12, 13, 14, 18, 19, 20 and 21 too is cancelled. Train 16518/16524 Kannur/Karwar to KSR Bengaluru via Mysuru Express journey commencing on August 15, 16, 17 and 22 is fully cancelled. Train 16575 Yeswanthpur to Mangaluru Junction express journey commencing on August 13, 15, 18, 20 and 22 too is fully cancelled.

Train 16576 Mangaluru Junction to Yeswanthpur express commencing on August 12, 14, 16, 19, 21 and 23 is cancelled. Train 16585 Yeswanthpur to Mangaluru Central express on August 11, 13, 15, 18, 20 and 22 is cancelled. Train 12, 14, 16, 19, 21 and 23 is fully cancelled.
