Mangalore: Nigam B. Vasani was elected president of the Kanara Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI), Mangalore for 2014-15 at the 73rd annual general meeting held on Thursday September 25.

Vasani took over the charge from erstwhile president Mohammed Ameen.

The other office-bearers are Rammohan Pai Maroor (Vice-president), M. Ganesh Bhat (treasurer), Jeevan Saldanha and Ananth G Pai (secretaries).

CA B Chandrakanth Rao, M Aziz Ahmed, Nitte Yathiraj Shetty, P B Abdul Hameed, Suneel Pai, Prashanth C G, Christopher Noronha, Vathika Pai, Mahesh Padav Shenoy, Dikshith Rai, Gaurav Hegde and Nissar Fakeer Mohammed assumed charge as directors.
