Mangaluru: Embracing the joyous spirit of Christmas, News Karnataka is thrilled to announce the Christmas Carol Video Contest-2023. This festive competition comes with specific guidelines, and participation will be limited to the first 75 submitted videos.

Competition Details:

• Each participating team is allowed to submit only one video.
• Videos must be recorded between November 4 and December 5, 2023, and submitted within this period.
• Individuals are restricted to sending and participating in just one video.
• Videos should have a duration of 3 to 4 minutes and must revolve around a realistic theme.
• Teams must comprise a minimum of 2 members and can include up to 15 participants, with musicians being a mandatory part of the lineup.
• Video submissions are to be made following the completion of the registration process.
• Video evaluation will be prioritized based on the order of registration.

Prizes and Disqualifications: The top video will be awarded a substantial cash prize of Rs 15,000, while the second-place winner will receive Rs 10,000, and the third-place contestant will be granted a prize of Rs 5,000. Consolation prizes worth Rs 1,000 will also be distributed.

Important Note: Any team found to be in violation of the competition rules will face disqualification.
