Kasargod: The City Crime Branch police have arrested a man in connection with a mysterious death case of newly married woman.

Basheer from Parapalli, husband of the deceased woman is the arrested.

The incident took place on September 3, 2014, where the newly married woman Fathimath Safeed(18) was found dead in a well.

Suspecting it to be a murder, a police team led by DySP of Hosadurga had started investigation. Later the case was handed over to CCB. The investigation has revealed that the woman committed suicide over dowry harrassment hence her husband has been arrested.
