Mangalore : There have been a number of accidents on the Bendur-Kankanady Road after the one way rules were introduced last week. Lane changing is difficult due to the divider and drivers are still not comfortable with the system.

On July 7, during the process of changing lanes on this four lane one way road, a car and a bus collided near Colaco hospital.  It is learnt that Seema, was taking her daughter back home from St. Theresas School, when at Colaco hospital she changed lanes from to the right to go to the Arya Samaj Road when all of a sudden a bus moving at high speed hit her car.

No one was hurt in the incident though the car is badly damaged. The Kadri Police arrived on the spot for further investigation.
