Mangaluru: The new showroom of the Mafatlal Uniform store and textile centre in the PVS Centenary Building was inaugurated on March 20.

The brand new showroom will cater to all school-going needs from bags to uniforms. The centre will also have an in-house custom stitching facility.

The inaugural ceremony was graced by MLA UT Khader. “Mafatlal has provided employment to lakhs of people and will now cater to a student’s school requirements,” he said.

Mafatlal Industries Ltd, president, MB Raghunath, Mangaluru Mahanagara Palike Mayor, Premanand Shetty, President of Textile and garment association, K Sunadu, Business head of New Textile Centre, TK Ranjan Business Head of Uniform Centre, Roshin Bobby, SMTP President, Anil Kumar, and KNSS President, Murali H were present at the event.
