Mangaluru: Naresh Shenoy, the prime accused in RTI activist Vinayak Baliga murder case has reportedly refused to undergo Narco-analysis test procedures.
The officials probing the murder case had filed application in the court to subject Shenoy to Narco-analysis procedures so that crucial details pertaining to case could be procured. However, since the accused has refused to face the test, the possibilities of the investigating officers getting an upper hand is rather bleak. The law permits narco tests only with consent of the accused.
Vinayak Baliga was murdered on the morning of March 21 this year. Six persons were earlier arrested in connection to the case. The main conspirator and prime accused Naresh Shenoy was arrested on June 26, putting an end to his three month long run.
