Mangaluru: Former minister and senior BJP leader Krishna J Palemar has predicted a landslide victory for incumbent MP Nalin Kumar Kateel and said that Kateel will trounce his opponent, Congress-JDS candidate Mithun Rai with a margin of around three lakh votes this time.

Participating in an election campaign in city along with Nalin Kumar Kateel he said that the developmental works of Kateel will help the BJP in fetching more votes. “Nalin has done a commendable job during his two terms and people are aware of it. Most of the roads in the district, National Highways have been developed at rapid pace in the last 10 years. The city has been developed through various schemes like Amrut, smart city among others, which gave a new look to the city”, he said.

Meanwhile, Palemar informed that the opposition party leaders are indulging in spreading fake news claiming that Nalid did nothing for the district. “But such hidden agenda of the Congress leaders would not yield any positive result as people know Nalin very well. They will re-elect him with the margin of three lakh votes”, he added.
