Mangaluru: State government should probe the recent rape incidents, find out who are behind these repeated cases and should find out whether they are politically instigated, said Ex union minister Janardhan Poojary.

The investigation of these sexual assault cases should be done in a proper manner and culprits should be punished. The process of protecting women should begin from the state. Those who fail to crack these cases also should be punished.
He was speaking at a press meet held in the city.
Even the religious leaders are accused of Sexual assault cases. Action should be taken against them too. Police and judiciary should not step back from punishing rapists. Women should be respected, he said.
While taking a jibe at PM, he said that Modi should stop travelling to foreign countries. By holding mass rallies and waving at huge crowds in foreign countries during visits nothing good will happen in the country. PM should act tough on China. Modi should visit all the states along with his ministers. Visit villages, come to Mangaluru, he said.
He added, “Muthalik’s latest comment on rapists that their hands should be cut as a punishment is condemnable. He is instigating communal fights and violence. He should not ask people to take law in their hands”.
