Mangaluru: A plot to kill a BJP ticket aspirant from Moodbidri constituency was successfully thwarted by the anti rowdy squad sleuths on Thursday March 29.

Pradeep Poojary, a Ulaibettu resident , Dinesh Belchada of Bantwal, and Shivaprasad of Mulky were arrested during a raid at Kinnigoli. Reportedly the gang used to wrest money out of people by threatening them. It is also gathered that weapons were found from their car.

The murder plot came to light during the police questioning.
