Mangaluru: The residents of the Mangalore SEZ colony barged into the MSEZ office in Mangaluru on Wednesday, January 13 demanding basic facilities at the colony.
Addressing the reporters here, resident of the Colony, Ganesh Hosabettu said that the colony lacks basic facilities such as drinking water, streetlights, drainage system and other facilities and despite the locals persistently urging the local MLAs to do the needful, their pleas have fallen on deaf ears.

However, with the SEZ higher officials assuring the protesters action in this regard at the earliest, the protesters withdrew the stir.
