Mangaluru: As the countdown begins for Mangalore Premier League 2016, members and jerseys are being unveiled by the teams. In a gala event organised by the Maestro Coproration, they launched the jerseys of their team “Maestro Titans” with their team song complemented by a power-packed dance performance by Team RDC.
A series of games were conducted for the audience and Hindi songs mashup sung by Macwin Fernandes and Naveen. Ester Noronha, Mangalorean actor who came on stage along with her mother Janet Noronha who recently started a movie production company, wished Team Maestro Titans to perform their best in MPL tournament this year.

Maestro Titans then launched their team logo and theme song for MPL 2016 while one of the city’s dance troupes, Team RDC danced to the song as it played. This was followed by the introduction of team players to the audience as they walked the ramp with their yellow and blue jerseys on. Names of the players and their strengths were displayed on a background screen as they walked the ramp.

Maestro Titans owner Canyut Fernandes, Team Director Alphonse Fernandes, team model Sonia Rodrigues, team choreographer Cherry and Maestro Titans ambassador Pooja Shetty walked the ramp and joined the players on stage. Pooja spoke to the gathering and extended her support to team Maestro Titans.

Also present on the occasion was Imthiyaz, the initiator of MPL 2016. Addressing the gathering, he said, “Maestro Titans owner Canyut Fernandes was the first person to support MPL when I had announced it. He was always in favour of MPL and enthusiastic about conducting this event on a large scale. I wish team Maestro Titans all the best for the tournament.”
