Mangaluru: Dakshina Kannada MP Nalin Kumar Kateel has been selected as the state president of BJP on Tuesday, August 20.

BJP National General Secretary Arun Singh, in a press release informed that BJP national president Amit Shah has appointed Kateel as the state BJP president with immediate effect.

The three-time MP defeated Congress veteran leader twice and the recently held LS poll, he trounced Congress youth leader Mithun Rai and retained power in Magaluru constituency.
