Mangaluru: Speaking at a programme here on Thursday MP Nalin Kumar Kateel has threatened to observe a fast unto death if the state government does not promulgate an ordinance on Kambala and does not change its stance on the Yettinahole project during the upcoming legislature session.

“Will fast unto death in front of the Mahatma Gandhi statue near Town Hall here,” he stated adding that he believes in the Gandhian principle of non-violence and Satyagraha.

The protests will be intensified after February 10, if the government does not accept the demands of the agitators, he said.
