Kasargod: A motorcyclist died and his wife was seriously injured in Sitangoli near Kumble this morning.

The deceased has been identified as Amir (31), a resident of Vikasnagar in Kattatadka.

His wife Ramsina (27) was seriously injured and has been admitted to a hospital in Mangaluru.

Their little child too suffered injuries. The accident occurred on Perla-Sitangoli road, when the couple along with the child was returning from a relative’s wedding at Chowki Kambar on September 11.

Amir suffered grievous injuries when the bike veered off the road and fell into a road side ditch. Though hospitalised, Amir succumbed to injuries.

Kumble police have registered a case.
