Mangaluru: A woman from Falnir in the city approached the cops to register an FIR against her son after the latter sold a car belonging to the woman by forging the documents.

The accused, Manish has now gone absconding. Reportedly, he had tried to talk his mother into selling her car. However, since she seemed to be disinterested in the proposal Manish forged the documents of the vehicle and sold it to a person from Suntikoppa in Madikeri taluk.

A case has been registered at Mangaluru south police station and the cops are trying to trace Manish.
