Moodbidri: Kadalakere St Ignatius aided high school head master B Jayaram has been honoured as the best teacher in the district.

For 34 years he worked as the school teacher and since nine years he has been the headmaster.

He has also served as the president of Aided Teacher’s association of Moodbidri ward. He has provided all the facilities for the students both curricular as well as extra curricular through donors. He has been encouraging the students in every aspect. He has also encouraged honorary teachers to participate in teaching students at the school

His wife Jyothi is working as the Headmistress at Kemar school.

“I didn’t have any desire to have the award. I have tried my best to provide students proper facilities and environment to study. This award has encouraged me to work more and more for the betterment of children “, said the headmaster.
