Mangaluru: On the occasion of Mothers’ Day, Moms of Mangalore are bringing to the city a beautiful and elegant pageant “BON Super Mommy 2019” at City Center Mall from 5 PM on May 12. This is the third year since the inception of the ‘Super Mommy’ title.

The event starts with an online contest where mothers have to upload a picture of their beautiful bond with their child. Based on the highest number of likes and the judges’ decision, there will be 20 finalists who will compete on May 12 at the main gala event at City Center.

The second round will be kicked off with a ramp walk with colour coordinated outfits. Each participant will introduce themselves and speak a few words about their view of being a mother. This will be an elimination round from which 10 participants will move on to the next round- the question and answer round. The best answers will help the participants move on the next and final round which is a special visual round. There will be three winners- the title winner and two runners-up. All participants will receive participation certificates and medals. Winners receive cash/gift vouchers.

This event brings together members of the biggest group of mothers of Mangalurean origin on Facebook to celebrate the true essence of being a mother and compete in the true spirit of competition to win the title of ‘Super MOMMY 2019’. Moms of Mangalore has more than 38,000 members and has previously won the Best Mommy Group on Facebook in the year 2017.
