Mangalore, Feb 18: Amid of massive security, full packed ground and with several supporters, BJP PM Candidate Narendra Modi entered the ground as if creating a page of news in the history.
Cheering and initiating his speech with Bharat Mata ki Jai, Modi greeted people in Tulu language. He raised the issue of Areca-nut (Adike) where he said that our country needs a concrete solution for it with better schemes and management in regard to take care of farmers. Also, our country has no strategy and priorities in agricultural fields.

He states that we need to increase the purchasing power of village people in order to boost country’s economy.
Citing a current example of shame in parliament over pepper spray, “He gags on Congress that from the state, at least they have considered black pepper in such a manner; instead of shunning Supari.”
He adds that a spray of black pepper was such an incident that entire the parliament started coughing and likewise Congress is spraying such spray powders in people’s eyes in order to hide their sins and corruption so as their black business should go on.

Raising his point on CBI, he says that Congress has started scaring leaders by putting CBI behind them. But seems to me (Modi) they have dialed a wrong number, “I am not from them who scares of CBI like other leaders (Jaise baki neta CBI se darr jaate hain, Modi bhi CBI se darr jaega? Par unhe malum nahi tha ke lene ke dene par jaaenge).”
Slamming Congress, he says: “We need to recognize Congress’ fake promises and slogans. Economically the country has been a debt ridden. And, Congress is completely filled with corruption, also day-by-day Supreme Court is censuring it, and seems that they don’t have any esteem.”
Praising Mangaloreans and the city he said, “Mangalore has given big banks to the country such as Corporation Bank, Canara bank, Syndicate Bank, Vijaya Bank, Karnataka Bank. You people open banks and we increase their accounts (Aap bank kholte ho, hum bank ki tijori bharte hain).”

Pointing on coastal states and districts he says that we need an exceptional model for such regions merely tailor-made strategies won’t work much.
Moreover, he avers that we need a holistic plan for coastal development and should develop fish harbor, which will be a holistic approach towards fishermen as well.
Citing Gujarat’s technology based successful example for fishermen in regard to getting a cage in the sea, he says, “Through satellite we can exactly tell fishermen that where apparently they have to go to sea in order to get a cage at the right place to catch fishes. Further, which will be a time consuming element as well.”

“We don’t export talent, but labor unless we don’t export both labor and talent we won’t lead in the world market,” he quotes.
Coming on potential of tourism sector, he adds: “We need to boost high-cost of tourism along with low cost. We need to attract rich countries in order to increase high-cost tourism.”
Considering the textile sector, he says that we need to manufacture zero defect ready made garments in regard to lead again at world’s position where at present small countries like Korea, Bangladesh etc., are leading.
Consequences of our mediocre thinking we are left behind of even the small countries, though being of leader in this field at some point of the period.
Claiming NDA’s employment rate, Modi says that it has provided six crore twenty lakh employment rate in the country while Congress provided 27 lakh people of employment from year 2009 to 2014.
Winding his speech, he says that year 2014 will bring hope, trust and excitement. We don’t have to vote people or a particular group, but have to vote for a country.
