Kasargod: The BJP has all guns brazing to open an account in Kerala during the 2016-Assembly Polls and adding impetus to the same, Prime Minister Narendra Modi vouching for the party on Sunday questioned the people of Kerala if West Bengal and Kerala were in India?

Addressing the voters in Kasargod- his first venue for the day, Modi slammed the Left and the Congress for their ‘adjustment politics’ and said that how can the Left and the Congress speak two different things in West Bengal and Kerala?
Slamming the Left and Congress for their tie up in West Bengal, Modi questioned if the parties which speak different things be trusted.
“This politics of adjustment is actually the politics of corruption and compromise,” the PM said adding that the two parties are insulting the sensibilities of the people.
Specifically citing the instances of how BJP party workers are brutally killed in Kerala, PM said that CPM led LDF’s politics of violence has claimed the lives of so many BJP workers who were just doing their work of serving people.
“For Kerala to shine, there is an immediate need for replacing the politics of corruption and violence by politics of development.
Further citing the instances of how NDA has responded to various crisis of the South, PM said that when Fr Alex Premkumar was abducted by Taliban, it was the NDA government which made all the attempts for his release.
“When anybody in Kerala too faces trouble, we feel the pain in Delhi,” he said.
The audience shouted and clapped out of joy as Modi open his talk by greeting the gathering in Malayalam.
From Kasargod, Modi will proceed to Kuttanad, where he will address a rally at Lourdes Matha High School and then leave to Kanyakumari.
Modi will leave to Delhi on Sunday evening, but will be back in Kerala on May 11 for campaign in Tripunithura.
He was, on his arrival at Mangaluru airport at Bajpe, welcomed by Deputy Commissioner A B Ibrahim along with Police Commissioner Chandrasekhar, BJP District President Pratap Simha Nayak, former MLA Krishna J Palemar, former MLA Yogesh Bhat and others.
