Mangaluru: Thieves, who barged into a mobile phone store, reportedly got away with phones worth lakhs of rupees. The theft took place between Thursday night and the wee hours of Friday at Ruby Mobiles located in Kankanady.

According to the shop owner Zulfikar, as many as 60 mobiles phones have been stolen. The total loss is yet to be estimated.

In his complaint lodged with the Kadri police, Zulfikar stated that he had locked the shutter after work hours on Thursday night. However, to his dismay, on Friday morning he happened to see that the lock of the shutter was broke open. Investigation is underway.
