Mangaluru: A group of Hindu outfit members allegedly tries to stop a Muslim youth and a Hindu woman from travelling to Bengaluru.

According to sources, the Hindu woman from Bengaluru had travelled to Puttur to attend the wedding of her male Muslim friend’s cousin.

Hindu outfit activists tried to stop her on her way back to Bengaluru and had also contacted the police.

When questioned by the police, the woman claimed that she had come to attend her friend’s cousin’s wedding on her own will.

The woman was then allowed to return home by the police.
