Mangaluru: Questioning Mangaluru South MLA D Vedavyas Kamath for his visit to the sealed down area of Boloor, KPCC spokesperson P V Mohan urged him to undergo self-quarantine.

Addressing the media persons on Saturday, May 2, Mohan said, “What was the need to visit a sealed area when health workers are doing their duty properly? By visiting the area, MLA Vedavyas Kamath has violated the guidelines. Legal action should be taken against him.”

In the meanwhile, Mohan urged MLA Kamath to undergo self-quarantine saying, “If Kamath is not ready to undergo quarantine, the district administration should take initiative and quarantine him.”

P V Mohan also alleged that BJP MLAs are disbursing grocery kits to the poor only for political gain. “The Belthangady and Mangaluru North MLAs have been disbursing grocery kits in Ullal instead of giving it to the people in their own constituencies. This is nothing but a political drama by the BJP leaders,” he added.
