MLA Rajesh Naik releases ‘Namma Padumale’ memorandum

Bantwal: MLA Rajesh Naik Ulippadi released a Namma Padumale memorandum issued by Sanchalana Seva trust and to hold consultations for Brahmakalashotsava to be held at Padumale, Puttur on April 23 and 24.

The memorandum was issued in a meeting held at Hotel Rangoli, BC Road on Saturday, March 20.

Trust president K Harikrishna Bantwal who presided said that there are documents to prove that Koti Chennaya was born and raised here. “They built the garodi to keep people healthy. There are crores of people who worship Koti Chennaya. The confusion is created due to the scarcity of people studying history,” he said.

Managing trustee, film actor Vinod Alva requested cooperation from all. Honorary president Ranjan Mijar, district panchayat member Kamalaksha Poojary, Ravindra Kambali, committee leaders Prakash Anchan, Devappa Poojary and Bhuvanesh Pachinadka were present. Dombaya Arala welcomed and compered the programme. Sudarshan Baja rendered a vote of thanks.
