MLA Bava to hand over title deeds to 3800 beneficiaries

Mangaluru: Of the 8,636 applications from the Mangaluru North Constituency for the title deeds under 94 CC of the Karnataka State Land Revenue Act, 3,800 are ready for disposal, MLA Moideen Bava said.

Addressing a press meet at his office here in the city on February 14, MLA Moideen Bava said, “State Minister Kagodu Thimappa has symbolically handed over a few title deeds on February 14. In all, 3,800 tittles deeds have already been scrutinised and are ready for disposal. About 40 percent of the people have paid Rs 10,000 for the tittle deeds and those who haven’t paid the amount should do so and obtain the tittle deeds.”

The title deeds for the beneficiaries of Adyar block will be given on February 20 at 8 AM and that of Neermarga at around 2.30 PM. The beneficiaries of Gurupura will be given the deeds on February 21 at around 8 AM and Kandavara applicants will get it at around 2 PM. The beneficiaries of Yedapadavu will get their tittle deeds on February 22 and those from Badaga Yedapadavu and Muchooru at around 2.30 PM.

Similarly, beneficiaries of Paduperaru on February 23 at around 8 AM, Ganjimatt ward at around 2.30 pm, Muthooru on February 24 at around at 8 AM and Kuppepadavu at around 2.30 PM, Thiruvailu on February 25 at around 8 AM and Mallur at around 2.30 PM and Ullaibettu on February 26 at around 8 AM, Bhava informed.

The MLA added that the 22 wards coming within the Mangaluru City Corporation limits and also belonging to the Mangaluru North Constituency would get their title deeds between March 1 and 11.
